Showing up takes courage. Every young performer who entered the festival put in months of practice and then stood in front of an audience to share it. We celebrate them all — scholarship recipients, Gala performers, BC Provincial candidates, and everyone who simply got on stage.

When a student applies to a scholarship or to a university music program, they can link to these pages as a verifiable third-party record of their festival recognition.

By registering for the festival, participants (or their parent or guardian, if under 19) grant VPAF permission to publish names, photos, and bios, unless consent is withheld in writing in advance.
